Aloha, everyone, and welcome to my first blog post about the political situation going on in the world. Generally I have sat by idly when it came to politics; I would discuss my views with some of my friends, family, and colleagues, but I would never get more involved than that. I have voted in all elections since I was 18 and I am a US Army Veteran having served my country, even spending time in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. I have worked for many businesses, and I have co-founded businesses as well, even watching one of the them crumble after the Tech Stock Crash of 2000 . I have a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and I have been an educator for more than fifteen years. I just published my first book last year about my time in the Army.
